The forum, themed \u201cExpanding Co-operation Prospects and Long-term Partnership\u201d, was organized by the Bahrain Chamber and aimed at reinforcing liaison between Bahraini and Brazilian business owners, invigorating trade and investment activities, and achieving mutual economic gains. Speaking at the event, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro hailed the bilateral relation between Bahrain and Brazil built on trust and understanding. He voiced pride in the growing relation between both friendly countries and the opening of Brazil embassy in Bahrain, which will further serve both countries and people. He highlighted investment and partnership opportunities in mining, water, and food wealth. He also welcomed Bahraini business owners and investors to venture in the fertile Brazilian market and explore opportunities in infrastructure projects and the tourism sector. From his side, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, who is also the Chairman of the Federation of GCC Chambers expressed pride in the pioneering standing of Bahrain, and being a role model for peace, freedom, and co-existence, attributed to His Majesty's wise and far-sighted vision. He cited the launch of Bahrain Declaration in Brazil in December 2020, which reinforced the principles of peace, freedom, and Faith. Mr. Nass described Brazil as a top trade partner to Bahrain, and lauded the growing business between both sides. He vowed sparing no effort to further bolster business ties and reinforce trade and partnerships, and called Bahraini and Brazilian entrepreneurs and business owners to explore new opportunities and take advantage of fertile and open markets. The forum featured top speakers from both sides, who deliberated about concurrent business issues and opportunities and probed ways to bolster business relations and bilateral trade. The forum also shed light on incentives to foreign investors, and touched upon existing and future development projects. The function witnessed the signing of two Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) that stipulate joining forces in holding business functions, exchanging business delegations, and sharing studies and research.
